The new physical insights into the phenomenon of blow-off reported in this paper led to further project funding from Rolls Royce Canada (RG52782, GBP80k) which is contributing to the development of new gas and dual fuel injector design concepts. Gordon is now employed by Rolls-Royce Canada.
