Additional information
Introduces a new System-on-Chip architecture for video motion compensation that can be re-configured in real time to deal with multiple video coding standards e.g. MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, and AVS. Silicon design studies show this flexible architecture to be highly competitive in performance and area with that of a fixed function architecture for H.264 alone and to be suitable for HDTV rates. This is the first such flexible architecture to be introduced.
