Additional information

This multi-disciplinary work considers the role of localised compositional differences in the corrosion performance of sprayed coatings. This work shows for the first time that the main contributing factor is not porosity, but the galvanic corrosion effects associated with oxide inclusions within High Velocity Oxy-Fuel sprayed samples.
