Double-weighted statement

This monograph length study of Labour ideology and practise in Britain and Australia across the twentieth century offers an original and complex interpretation of the place of race and empire in shaping ideas and policy. Based on sources in Britain and Australia and making particular use of mainstream and labour periodicals it engages with traditionalist and revisionist interpretations of class politics in a transnational and comparative context.
