<06> This journal paper presents a novel multi-channel MAC protocol for wireless mesh networks. The uniqueness of this protocol resides in the dynamic adjustment of the behaviour of the MAC layer between CSMA and TDMA access methods based on the level of contention in the network. This protocol is implemented and rigorously evaluated using the network simulator ns-2.
