Additional information

<26> Originality: The first object-oriented software environment for integrating speech processing with real-time graphics, which provides a research tool for speech/text-driven facial animation.

Significance: The developed system bridged both cultural and technological divides between speech teleology community and computer graphics community, where facial animation whose motion is synchronised with speech has been studied and developed separately, and there has been no standard software infrastructure that incorporates speech technology and computer graphics.

Rigour: The poster version for the SIGGRAPH2010 conference was awarded Bronze at ACM Student Research Competition.
