Additional information

<28> Cardiovascular diseases are the biggest cause of deaths worldwide. The significant scientific relevance of the paper is to improve auscultation and heart diagnosis capabilities through developing an advanced digital audio processing algorithm. The introduction of fuzzy logic and digital signal processing algorithms had a significant reduction in the computational time of the automatic detection of the physiological status of the subject. Further contribution of this research is, the introduction of phonocardiogram as an alternative to ECG which is considered as a breakthrough in the health service sector.
