This work is an outcome of an FP7 project (Advance-FSP) that studied the formation and growth of nanoparticles. Based on this research, a prototype industrial FSP nanoparticle production line that achieves continuous and reliable production at a rate of 2 - 5 kg/hour has been produced. This is an order of magnitude higher than was previously achievable.
