Additional information

This work was the first demonstration of compatible blending of donor and acceptor semiconducting polymers, a new approach to the production of conductive organic polymers free from dopant additives, a concept previously described by Foot in a patent: GB2304722. Further work to develop the inherent potential of this technique to achieve superconducting properties was published in 2012.
