Published in this leading, international journal, this research developed a complete complexity management framework for H.264 video encoders. At the time of publication, this research was unique and world leading in employing complexity reduction and control in an encoder management framework that maximises subjective video quality. This research was built on Sampath Kannangara’s knowledge and strong track record on complexity reduction of video encoding based on unconstrained Lagrange optimization.
