Additional information

The paper has opened a new avenue for biomedical and biomaterial industries to test biomimetic soft membranes. The method has attracted interests form several major companies, including TA Instruments (Mark Phipps, Senior Regional Account Manager, mphipps@tainstruments.com), to consider commercialization of the technique. The extension of the work has formed partly the success of Dr. Liu’s application (as the solo Investigator) to the Leverhulme Trust Research Project Grant (£211,105).
