Recently, the method proposed in this paper has been adopted by American and Australian research teams (Contact Professor D I Pullin at Caltech (dale@galcit.caltech.edu) to improve the accuracy of their numerical prediction. A discussion is taking place to apply this method to more accurate Rolls‐Royce turbine simulations, and further funding is being sought from in collaboration with Cambridge University (Professor Paul Tucker pgt23@cam.ac.uk).
