"Le cinema d'Edward Yang" is a monograph dedicated to pre-eminent Taiwanese director E. Yang, leading figure of the Taiwanese New cinema and of Chinese modern cinema. The book includes, beside biography and deep analysis of each of Yang's film, more than 200 previously-unpublished documents, and tributes to Yang's work by renowned specialists (Tony Rayns, Pierre Rissient, Prof. Isabelle Wu), and major directors such as Martin Scorsese, Hou Hsiao-hsien, Olivier Assayas, Jia Zhang-ke.
