This was a first study in the area of affordability engineering in the defence industry, forming part of an EPSRC/IMRC project: EP/E001874/1, total funding: £565,595. Collaborators were BAE Systems, Smiths Aerospace, Lockheed Martin UK, MoD, Rolls-Royce, Galorath, Cognition, the Association of Proposal Management Professonals, and the Society of British Aerospace Companies.
