<23>Presents a novel approach to understanding patterns of activity in public spaces monitored through multiple non-overlapping cameras, formulated Cross Canonical Correlation Analysis to discover and quantify mutual information in a single space. It is a final definitive account of preliminary in CVPR'09 (10.1109/CVPR.2009.5206827), output from EPSRC/MOD JGS grant EP/E028594/1(JGS1097), EU FP7 grant SEC-217899. Results presented at 2009 Home Office CONTEST INSTINCT Showcase, invited plenary at 2012 US DHS / DOE & Japan Foreign Ministry "Challenges of Counterterrorism Technologies". Won contracts from the Home Office / BAE, and EU-FP7 transport grant 265717, through spin-out (Robert Koger - rpkoger@visionsemantics.com). UK & international patents.
