PW co-supervised the two PhD students, Andy Schmidt and Curry Taylor, in day-to-day work, together with whom he performed spectroscopic imaging measurements on the underdoped UD45 sample. He performed the data analysis of quasi-particle interference patterns with extraction of the superconducting gap magnitude as a function of position on the Fermi surface, as well as analysis of the intensity of the nematic state, which is reported in the paper.
