<22> Classical approaches in game theory assume perfect rationality by the players and derivations of the subgame equilibrium are typically laborious. This paper shows that evolutionary computation allows us to approximate subgame equilibrium more efficiently for much more complex situations than those reported in the literature. This paper establishes that evolutionary computation is a practical method for approximating subgame equilibrium.
