This paper investigated a pultruded CFRP floor panel for green buildings with low thermal conductivity features. The research produced design curves for practical applications of CFRP floor panels in low carbon construction industries for energy saving and reduction of CO2 emission, in collaboration with Arup. A proposal based on this investigation was selected by BIS and Innovation China UK (ICUK) for UK-China Technology Partnering Workshop on Advanced Material Technology 2013 funded by European Union to explore collaboration with Asia for developing green buildings globally.
