Significance of output:
This is the first paper to derive a model for fluid clearance via lymphatic system by taking into account the explicit lymphatic microstructure. Within 1 month of this paper being published I was invited to write a lymphatic modeling review chapter for Springer published book “Multiscale Computer Modeling in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering”, in the Series "Studies in Mechanobiology, Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials".
