Additional information

Archibald was the principal engine behind this volume, co-authoring the Introduction and bringing together the contributors with

Davies. She has contributed an originally conceived chapter, ‘Mobility and innovation in Hellenistic economies: causes and

consequences of human traffic’ (pp. 42-65); has engaged closely with contributors, suggesting particular ways of recasting or

re-shaping the chapters of (especially) Hannestad, Manning, Thompson, and von Reden; she closely edited half of the texts;

and managed the book from proposal to publication.
