Additional information

This article presents the first compact circuit model of the transient performance of RF MEMS switches. This work allowed Lehigh University and MEMtronics to win competitive funding from DARPA as an extension ( 2009-2011) to the HERMIT program (F33615-03-C-7003) for improving reliability of MEMS in harsh conditions. The approach is being advanced in conjunction with bio-electro-magnetic modelling of mammalian cells for bio-sensing for which € 100k funding has recently been sought under an EU Marie Curie Career Integration Grant with LAAS, Toulouse and La Sapienza, Rome.
