Additional information

<22>This paper develops and tests a new technique called "inner entanglements" for re-formulating planning domain models in order to make the planning engines that process them more efficient. Further, it develops a method based on the integration of inner and outer entanglements, and evaluates these both theoretically, investigating their computational properties, and empirically, using a range of benchmark planning domains and problems. The work led to the development of a macro-technique for planner speed-up published in Proc. SARA 2013, Washington, USA.
