Design of Teacher Assistance Tools in an Exploratory Learning Environment for Algebraic Generalization
<29> This paper represents the first work aimed at notifying teachers of students' attainment of significant knowledge-building landmarks as they are undertaking exploratory learning tasks. This work too was undertaken as part of the MiGen project and impact arising from it is described in Impact Case Study 3. This paper extends substantially the paper "The Design of Teacher Assistance Tools in an Exploratory Learning Environment for Mathematics Generalisation" presented at the EC-TEL 2010 conference. That paper was included in a selected set of best papers, and recommended for extension and submission to IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies.
