A study of university design tutors' perceptions of creativity
Design Creativity, and its preservation in the light of recent increases in access to digitally-enabled design methodologies, is an issue of serious concern amongst practitioners and educators. This collaborative piece of research between architect (Prof. Jones), design specialist (Prof. Rodgers), and educationalist (Dr. Nichol) was first presented at the peer reviewed 'International Conference on Design Creativity' in Strathclyde 2012, and selected for the Limited Proceedings publication (of the 90+ papers submitted only 32 were included). This was amplified and extended to its current form for inclusion in this peer reviewed international journal.
