Additional information

Analyses the cross-correlation properties of a range of WiFi transmissions in order to assess their performance for detection of non-cooperative targets. The first comprehensive study of WiFi signals for this application and provides the framework for assessing the range and Doppler properties of a WiFi detection system. This has led on to development of a full prototype WiFi detection system with application in security, retail and healthcare. The signal processing methods described have now been developed through to real time display. A patent for this method was completed in September 2013 with filing scheduled for October 2013 through UCL Business.
