Additional information

<02> Originality: A novel approach for solving the interoperability of grid data resources at the level of computational workflows. The solution proposes a methodology for integrating grid data access mechanisms into grid workflow solutions.

Significance: The presented solution enables grid workflow systems to integrate various heterogeneous data resources within one scientific workflow. As data in many use-case scenarios is scattered between various data resources, the solution enables a new level of data integration. The solution has been successfully adopted by production grid solutions and by several European projects.

Rigour: A reference implementation has been provided with detailed analysis of multiple scenarios.
