The paper describes a very efficient evidence-aggregation-based regressor and demonstrates that it outperforms its standard recursion-based version on the automatic facial point detection task. The proposed facial point detector showed the best world performance on four best-known and most-commonly used databases in the field. IEEE TPAMI is the top journal in this area. It resulted in invitation to Prof Pantic to deliver a Plenary at the IEEE Int’l Conf. Biometrics 2012 (BTAS’12). It extends a paper in IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition 2010 - which has high citations.
