Additional information

<24>This results from a cooperation with AUDI and shows for the first time how driver attention can be recognised from CAN-Bus data (steering behaviour) and a camera in the car for increased safety. As a milestone, the database was recorded in real car-driving. Our openSMILE awarded feature extractor (published at the top-tier ACM Multimedia conference in 2010) brute-forces features fed into a memory enhanced learner. My PhD student (M.W.) was hired by BMW later based on this article - both (AUDI/BMW) continue research in this direction.
