Additional information

<04>This paper addresses the optimum sensing time and power allocation for cognitive radio under more practical multi-band scenario rather than conventional single-band scenario. More specifically, two novel algorithms are proposed. This is one of the first few papers that considered the practical scenario in cognitive radio. It is mathematically rigorous and sophisticated, while theoretical findings are supported by simulation results. Most importantly, this work motivated another approach which has been incorporated in the IEEE P1900.6 cognitive radio standard in December 2012.
