Optimized 3D Watermarking for Minimal Surface Distortion
<24>This paper uses a new surface distortion cost function for blind 3D watermarking. While the cost function is common with Bors 2, this paper focuses on using the Levenberg-Marquardt method to control the local distortion when embedding the watermark onto 3-D object surfaces when statistical perturbations are present. The new surface error function is used to define an optimization criterion for the Levenberg-Marquardt optimization method. The paper presents for the first time in 3-D watermarking, a study of watermark crypto-security. This includes parameter sensitivity, shape distortion analysis, watermark robustness tests and the bit capacity of the embedding.
