Additional information

<07>This paper makes contributions in two aspects of interactive drama: (1) the generation

of long interactive stories (in this case potentially infinite), and (2) the use of dilemmas

as focal dramatic points to steer the story. It is also one of the (so far) few examples of

rigorous evaluation in this research area, involving hundreds of users recruited on internet

forums and communities. The paper also suggests (and carries out) a turing-test-like evaluation

of narrative generation systems.
