Double-weighted statement

This volume presents the results of an eight-year field project which Garrard directed on Palaeolithic and Neolithic environments and settlement strategies in Jordan. The project involved extensive survey and excavation, and yielded a massive corpus of information for analysis and interpretation. The volume is 440 pages in length with 159 figures and 129 tables. Chapters 1-3 were written by Garrard, chapters 4 and 9 by Garrard with Hunt and Byrd respectively, and the remaining chapters were extensively edited by Garrard (including the production of all figures and tables). Garrard’s contributions took 24 months' full-time work, which included a sabbatical.
