Additional information
Paper is a result of an international and multidisciplinary collaboration across UK (NHS and Universities) and Brazil. This paper is the first to examine the waveform of the flagellum of human sperm in controlled physiological conditions. The demonstration of this informs basic research, the studies of chemotaxis and novel diagnostics and has been very well cited across observational and theoretical papers including broader work developing the theoretical understanding of swimming organisms in complex fluids.
