Additional information

The findings from this NIH-funded study (foot functions are related to foot structures that are cost-effective to measure and that do not require ionisation) were disseminated at major international conferences (GCMAS 2012 and ESEM 2010). These findings have assisted clinicians at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and the Hospital for Special Surgery with differential diagnosis of foot pathologies and treatment planning. The Unit was invited to disseminate these findings to clinicians at the British Society of Podiatrists in March 2012 and the Great Notley meeting in March 2013.
