Additional information

The work described in this paper was carried out in conjunction with the University of Tunku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur and was supported by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation in Malaysia under the Brain Gain Programme with the project number of MOSTI/BGM/ R&D/15. The modelling and algorithms developed in this paper have been taken forward with Northern Powergrid in the £54M Customer Led Network Revolution Project, the UK's largest smart grid demonstration project. This project uses energy storage in low voltage networks with photovoltaic generation in the ways outlined in this paper. www.networkrevolution.co.uk
