This creative and critical multi-media submission is included in a volume of the online, open access, peer-reviewed journal, Culture Machine. The volume’s theme is ‘Creative Media’. This submission is comprised of a theoretical text and digital video that together read and challenge Gilles Deleuze's societies of control thesis. Both the visual and written elements were conceptualised and created collaboratively under the title of Liquid Theory TV: an ongoing project that aims to bring cultural theory to a wider audience. The video has been viewed over 41,000 times on YouTube alone.
