Additional information

<15> This paper was one of the select number of papers accepted for oral presentation at KDD 2011. The key contribution is that it presented a theoretical framework that considers the data miner as an integral part of the data mining process. It attempts to model the data miner as much as the data itself, and in this way is capable of understanding the prior beliefs and interests of the data miner. This paper, along with [De Bie-2], resulted in De Bie being invited to give a keynote talk at the IDA 2013 conference.
