Additional information

Co-authors have contributed equally and substantially to this article, which articulates the results of their 15-year intensive programme of longitudinal research on youth crime and justice based on a cohort of 4,300 young people. This collaboration has resulted in a synthesis of critical theoretical and policy insights (McAra) with complex statistical analysis (semi-parametric group-based modelling, propensity score matching, regression modelling) (McVie).
