Additional information

<21> This paper analyses a large project to reuse open educational resources across educational organisations, expanding understanding of what 'openness' means in practice. The project involved cross-disciplinary collaboration between education, computer science and specialists in teaching maths and learning skills, and was funded by the EDUCAUSE / Gates Foundation. CHI is the most prestigious conference in the field, ranked 1st out 167 HCI conferences and in the top 1% of more than 3500 computer science conferences by Microsoft Academic. It includes a rigorous double-blind review with rebuttal stage, and CHI 2013 accepted 20% of submissions.
