<19>The work presented in the paper supported a grant application to EPSRC. The grant "CloudSafetyNet: End-to-End Application Security in the Cloud" was awarded Jan 2013 - Dec 2015, in collaboration with Imperial College (Dr Pietzuch, Bacon's former PhD student) and, as a collaborating partner: ECRIC (Eastern Region Cancer Registry), now the National Cancer Registry Service, Public Health, England (Dr Shand, Bacon's former PhD student).

The idea was of sufficient interest to achieve letters of support from:

The Cabinet Office,

Cambridgeshire County Council,

Citrix Systems,

Nexor Ltd.,

BAE Systems,

New Zealand e-Science Infrastructure,

Xen.org

and Morgan Stanley.
