Additional information

This first attempt to model N separate e-auctions in conjunction with the networks that link them, considers flows of bidders to each auction site that are allowed to move between auction sites using the Internet. The main result is a closed "product form" expression for the joint probability distribution of the price and number of bidders at each auction, and the income per unit time for each of the sites. Input parameters include the external arrival rates of bidders, the probabilities of moving from one auction to another, the bidding rates, and departure rates of bidders from different auctions.
