Additional information

The results presented in this paper were reported in Nanotechweb News (http://nanotechweb.org/cws/article/tech/40715) in 2009 because if its significance for microelectronics, particularly miniaturisation of computer memory. The paper led to invited talks at the 9th International Meeting of Pacific Rim Ceramic Societies (Cairns, Australia, 2011) and the UK-China Symposium on Clean Energy and Nanotechnology (Birmingham, 2010). The paper also led to six days beamtime at BESSY II on BESSY-EC-ELISA (proposal 2011_1_101075) and a paper with international collaboration accepted by Applied Physics Letters in October 2013.
