Additional information

The database for experimental data analysis developed in this work is in demand by other researchers, leading to current collaborations with Sandra Shefelbine (ID_in_audit_file@neu.edu, Northeastern University), Brendan Harley (ID_in_audit_file@illinois.edu, University of Illinois) and Kristin Myers (ID_in_audit_file@columbia.edu, Columbia University). The work with Dr. Myers is supported by a currently funded US National Science Foundation grant ("BRIGE: Characterizing the Time-Dependent and Anisotropic Mechanical Properties of the Uterine Cervix with Micro and Nano Indentation") in which Oyen is a named collaborator.
