Across the wall

Pappe is a founder of PALISAD, the academic group that produced this book. The research was a joint Palestinian-Israeli project in its conceptualization, choice of topics and methodology, but Pappe was responsible for guiding the researchers through the project, so that common research questions were addressed. He was solely responsible for creating a coherent research piece from the contributions, forming them into a unique collaborative historiographical venture. The contribution selection and much of the editing was done by Pappe. Pappe also wrote two sections (single authored), the introduction (joint authored) and the final chapter (joint authored).
