<16>One of two aims of the 16M Euro SUPER EU project was to automatically abstract from executing business services to abstract descriptions. This paper provided the cornerstone framework for this. The work was deployed in use cases with Telefonica, Polish Telecom and eTel Austria. It led SAP to extend one of their Business Process Modelling tools and IDS Scheer to extend their governance tool. Van der Aalst (leader in business process mining) used this work to extend his group's PRoM tool. The work was also taken up within the EU project ACSI and the German project Theseus TEXO.
