Additional information

This paper demonstrated the use of low temperature, environmentally friendly processing of magnetocaloric materials, with sustained magnetic response. This is a significant improvement on the current industrial approach involving high temperatures and Hydrogen gas pressure. Although a recent piece of work it has been the subject of 5 invited talks (including TMS, ISE). A UK patent has been filed and follow-on work to develop industrial applications granted (EPSRC Pathway to impact scheme).
