Additional information

The evolution of chemical, electronic and structural properties of graphene oxide thin films during reduction are studied and correlated for the fist time with the ultimate objective of using this material for electronic and optoelectronic applications on plastic substrates. Mattevi (lead author) gave two invited international conference talks on this work (SPIE Optics and Photonics, San Diego, USA, 2009; 8th International workshop on interfaces, Santiago de Compostela, SP, 2011), plus five invited seminars, e.g. Lehigh University (USA), Leiden University (NL), North-Eastern University (USA). This publication led, in part, to two EPSRC grants (£3.5M) where Mattevi is Co-I, EP/K01658X/1 and EP/K016792/1.
