Additional information

A collaborative paper between with the Max-Planck-Institute für Informatik, Saarbrücken; and the Technishe-Universität Braunschweig under the EC Network of Excellence “3DTV” (EC FP6 “3DTV” 511568, 2003). It represents cross-disciplinary work between optics and computer science and presents a method of analytically computing the light wavefront from 3D triangular mesh models directly in frequency space to allow fast evaluation, application of shading, and propagation of light from 3D mesh objects
