The device describe in this paper has been CE-marked (EMC test report-T3SU-0400-0400) and received a certificate of design registration on 19/08/11 (number 4021305). The device was subjected to a full clinical evaluation (56 participants completed the trial). This research formed part of the New Dynamics of Aging Research Programme being celebrated at the House of Lords on 22/10/13. Eleanor van den Heuvel is currently in the process of applying for TSB Smart funding with commercial partners, Alert-it and CXproducts, to proceed with commercialisation (AdeleLong-cxproducts1@gmail.com).
