A novel method for the parameterisation of a Li-ion cell model for EV/HEV control applications
This research was a part of a £25 million Low Carbon Vehicle consortium with twenty-five academic and industrial partners, addressing energy storage modelling and testing. Contact: Mr. John O'Connor, J.O-Connor@warwick.ac.uk. JLR, Ricardo, MIRA, TATA and Zytek were the main industrial partners.
The parameterized battery models in this research are being utilised by another EPSRC consortium ‘FUTURE’, EP/I038586/1, Professor Rob Thring, R.H.Thring@lboro.ac.uk, to design new ways of estimating battery State Of Charge and State Of Health, and develop new methodologies for revealing the limit of performance of batteries.
